The museum acknowledges and honors the accomplishments of ministers and a select group of community leaders who have positively influenced their community and our world by improving the quality of life for others. It unites Dallas and the nation in pride and purpose.

The facility originally opened in 1999, and displayed 15 Biblical themed rooms and historical occasions. Footage from the grand opening appeared on all of the television news networks. The museum has artwork donated by international artists and special artifacts which were welcomed by the Community. The museum received a congressional letter from Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, a congratulatory letter from Texas Governor Rick Perry and a Texas Resolution Legislative from Representative Yvonne Davis. In 2004, the Museum was featured on the CBS Charles Osgood File.
